102年指考翻譯題：

有效的時間管理是每位有責任感的學生必須學習的首要課題。

Student 1：

Manage the time efficiently (Efficient time management) is the priority (primary) lesson which every students (that every student) who have (has) the (a) sense of responsibility must learn.

Student 2：

An effective time management is the major lesson that every students (student) with (who has a sense of) responsibility must learn.

Teacher’s comments:

1. The first student made more simple grammar mistakes than the second student.
2. ‘Manage’ is a verb, so one shouldn’t start a sentence with a verb if not in imperative mood. So here it should be ‘managing’, a gerund (v + ing).
3. Both of them forgot that ‘every’ should follow with singular noun.
